Fields Foods, a new grocery store with local grown produce, and food made by St. Louis distributors, is now open at 1500 Lafayette Avenue. Fields Foods is the brainchild of St. Louis distributor, St. Louis Food Hub, with the help of Jeff Randol and his father Jeff Randol, Sr. The St. Louis distributor wanted to cure an epidemic that exists in St. Louis, known as a “food desert” where the local residents do not have readily available access to nutritious foods. Mr. Randol also wanted to find a way to help boost the mid-size farms that operate in or just outside the Metro Area. Thus, Fields Foods was created.
Fields Foods Offers Shopping Without the Headache
The store features a personal shopper who will check the items off your list while you grab a glass of wine or beer at the Wine and Beer Bar being run by St. Louis’ own 33 Wine Shop and Tasting Bar. Or if you fancy something of the non-alcoholic type, Fields Foods offers a coffee bar featuring Park Avenue Coffee, another Lafayette Square neighborhood favorite.
If you prefer to do your own shopping, but still would like to indulge in some vino, Fields Foods offers carts with built-in cup holders so that you can take your glass of wine or other beverage with you while you shop.
Fields foods is also partnering with St. Louis distributors to offer prepared foods in-store. This service is as close to having a person chef as many of us will come to see. They also offer a wide variety of baked goods, fine cheeses, bulk items and offer a sushi bar, as well.
St. Louis Distributors and Fields Foods Promise to Offer a Wide Range of Healthy Food:
