Anheuser-Busch Welcomes New Clydesdale Foal at Warm Springs Ranch
Anheuser-Busch has recently welcomed a new addition to its Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville – a sweet little boy Clydesdale foal. The ranch, which spans over 300 acres, is home to more than 70 Clydesdales and serves as a breeding and training facility for the majestic creatures.
The newborn foal weighs in at around 150 pounds and stands at about three feet tall. Within hours of its birth, it is able to walk on its own. As an adult, the Clydesdale can reach up to six feet tall and weigh around 2,000 pounds. These gentle giants consume up to 20 quarts of grain, 50 pounds of hay, and 35 gallons of water per day.
Herd Supervisor Amy Trout expressed excitement for the new foal, stating, “You never know what lies ahead for these gentle giants. The foals are so much fun to see up close, and you never know – he might just end up on a Budweiser commercial in the future.”
For those interested in meeting the new foal, Warm Springs Ranch is hosting a Football and Foals live watch party on Sunday, February 11 during the NFL Super Bowl. Guests can enjoy appetizers, dinner, two 16-ounce beers, and photo opportunities with the Clydesdales. The ranch will also be featured in its 46th Super Bowl appearance during the “Old-School Delivery” commercial.
Tickets for the event are $100 and can be purchased on Warm Springs Ranch’s website. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures.
