Trash Schedule Adjusted for Veterans Day: Roll Cart Collection Schedule Changed for Tuesday, November 11

Attention all city residents! Mayor Cara Spencer is bringing back the Mayor’s Holiday Card Contest for 2025. Show off your creative spirit and represent the diverse artists of St. Louis by submitting your design for the Mayor’s holiday cards.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Name, Contact Number, Email Address, and Ward must be included with submissions
  • Designs should be appropriate for all religions
  • Original designs should not exceed 8.5″ x 11″
  • All artistic mediums are allowed, as long as they can be rendered as a digital image
  • Renderings must be in a PNG format

Submission Themes:

  • Festival of St. Louis – celebrating the diversity of St. Louis and the many identities that make up our city
  • Laissez les bons temps rouler – celebrating the return of the Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball to City Hall in March
  • St. Louis Works – honoring the hardworking laborers who keep our city running smoothly
  • Sustainable Season – recognizing the sustainability efforts of St. Louis

Selection Process:

All artwork must be submitted via email to the Mayor’s Office by Friday, December 5, 2025 for consideration in the contest. The top 10 finalists will be invited to a special ceremony in the Mayor’s Office and their designs will be displayed in City Hall during the holiday season.

The Community Development Administration (CDA) has announced $1.14 million in neighborhood plan implementation awards for Skinker DeBaliviere, West End, Downtown, Downtown West, Covenant Blu-Grand Center, Jeff-Vander-Lou, and St. Louis Place. These investments will empower these communities to implement community-driven development.

CDA Announces Over $17 Million in FY2026 CDBG and HOME Investments

The CDA has also announced over $17 million in FY2026 CDBG and HOME investments. These annual HUD funds will support youth programs, housing repairs, small businesses, and post-tornado recovery efforts citywide.
