Claude Julien Returns to NHL as Assistant Coach for St. Louis Blues

After a year-long absence from the NHL, Claude Julien is making his comeback. The former head coach of the Montreal Canadiens has been hired by the St. Louis Blues as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Julien’s last stint as a head coach ended in February 2021 when he was fired by the Canadiens. However, he is now ready to jump back into the league and bring his expertise to the Blues’ coaching staff.

In addition to Julien’s hiring, the Blues also announced the promotion of Steve Ott to associate coach. Ott previously served as an assistant coach for the team and will now work alongside Julien to help lead the Blues to success.

With two experienced and talented coaches at the helm, the Blues are sure to make a strong comeback in the upcoming season. Fans can’t wait to see what Julien and Ott will bring to the team and how they will help the Blues reach new heights.
