Ryan Koenig is just one of the talented artists from St. Louis who will be featured at the STL Singer-Songwriter Showcase. What better way to unwind on a Wednesday night than with some of the best singer-songwriters from St. Louis? This Wednesday, January 31, the Focal Point (2720 Sutton Boulevard, Maplewood) will be hosting its first-ever STL Singer-Songwriter Showcase, providing a rare opportunity to hear the stories behind the songs in the St. Louis music scene.

The Focal Point has been around since 1975, specializing in traditional and folk music from around the world. Its intimate setting, with original 1920s maple floors, creates the perfect atmosphere for listening to music in the heart of Maplewood. Four acclaimed St. Louis-based singer-songwriters – Ryan Cheney, Steve Perron, Shane Devine, and Ryan Koenig – will take the stage on Wednesday, each with their own unique stories to share. Whether you’re a fan of the emotional and provocative ’90s rock, award-winning and internationally recognized songwriting, or just looking for a new sound to tune into, this event will have something for everyone.

So, come alone or bring that friend who always complains about oversized concert venues. Tickets are $15, and only available at the door with cash. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. For more information, visit thefocalpoint.org/event/stl-songwriters-showcase.
