ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Interstate 29 ramps in northern Platte County next week as part of an ongoing resurfacing project.

During the ramp closures, overpass traffic will be narrowed at the top of each ramp.

Work is currently scheduled during daylight hours, as noted below, but is subject to change:

Monday, Sept. 13
Exit 20 southbound exit ramp to Route 371 (Tracy exit)
Exit 25 northbound exit ramp to Routes E & U (Camden Point exit)

Tuesday, Sept. 14
Exit 25 northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps at Routes E & U (Camden Point exit)

Wednesday, Sept. 15
Exit 25 northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps at Routes E & U (Camden Point exit)
Exit 30 northbound exit ramp to Routes H & Z (Dearborn exit)

Thursday, Sept. 16
Exit 30 northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps at Routes H & Z (Dearborn exit)

Friday, Sept. 17
Exit 30 southbound exit ramp to Routes H & Z (Dearborn exit)

If crews are unable to complete the work during the above schedule, it may extend into the following week. Updates will be provided, as available, but ramps may close with little to no notice. Motorists are advised to be alert and pay attention to all signing.
