The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) Announces Exciting Hiring Fair for Healthcare and Bioscience Careers
The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) is thrilled to announce an upcoming hiring fair for job seekers interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare and bioscience industries. This event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., will be held in the 1st Floor Conference Room at 1520 Market Street in St. Louis, MO.
Confirmed participants for the hiring fair include At Home Care, BJK People’s Health Centers, DOORWAYS, Affinia Healthcare, Family Care Health Centers, HES, Exceed LLC, Two of a Kind Health Care, LLC, Allied Universal Security Services, Complete Quality Care LLC, and the City of St. Louis Department of Health. More companies are expected to join, providing even greater opportunities for job seekers.
“As the St. Louis region continues to face widespread layoffs, many residents are struggling to support their families,” said Fredrecka McGlown, executive director of SLATE. “At SLATE, we are dedicated to providing job seekers with opportunities while also helping businesses find qualified candidates. We take pride in hosting job fairs that make a real difference in people’s lives by connecting them to meaningful employment.”
Mayor Tishaura O. Jones also expressed her support for the event, stating, “Healthcare and bioscience workers are essential for the health of our community and the local economy. I am proud that SLATE is now celebrating 50 years of connecting employers in our region with new staff who are ready to make a difference.”
For those interested in attending the hiring fair, metered parking is available along Market Street. However, visitors are encouraged to use the Kiel Center Garage at the corner of Clark & 16th Street, located behind SLATE’s building.
