Call for Exhibitors: Showcase Your Art and Culture at St. Louis Lambert International Airport

The Lambert Art and Culture Program is seeking applicants for their upcoming exhibitions at the airport.

The Lambert Art and Culture Program at St. Louis Lambert International Airport is excited to announce their Call for Exhibitors! This is a fantastic opportunity for artists, makers, curators, and arts, culture, and science organizations in St. Louis and the surrounding area to showcase their work to millions of travelers and visitors at the airport.

What You Need to Know

The Call for Exhibitors is open until February 26, 2024. Applicants are encouraged to apply with their exhibition ideas, including the theme and types of works they would like to display. While specific proposals are not required at this time, sample images of the artwork or objects described in the exhibition idea are necessary.

Selection Process

The Airport Art Advisory Committee will review all applications and select a pool of exhibitors. If chosen, exhibitors will be scheduled for one of the airport’s eight exhibition sites. Each exhibition will last between six months and one year, with the current opportunity being for exhibitions between January 2025 and December 2026.

Compensation and Support

Selected exhibitors will receive a stipend based on the scale of the determined site and the responsibilities associated with curating, installing, and de-installing the exhibition. The airport also offers curatorial, technical, and administrative assistance to all selected exhibitors, with additional support available for smaller organizations and emerging artists and curators.

Past Exhibitors

The Lambert Art and Culture Program has featured a diverse range of cultural organizations and artists in the past, including The Mercantile Library, The Saint Louis University Museum of Art, The World Chess Hall of Fame, and Humans of St. Louis. This is a great opportunity to elevate the passenger experience and showcase the breadth of art and culture in the region.

Optional Tours

Interested applicants can attend optional tours of the exhibition locations on February 5 at 6:30 pm and February 6 at 10 am. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP early.
