It’s that time of year again, baseball fans. The highly anticipated 2025 MLB draft is just hours away, and all eyes are on the Washington Nationals as they hold the coveted No. 1 pick. With a talented pool of prospects to choose from, the Nationals have a tough decision to make. Will they go for one of the top college pitchers, or will they take a chance on a high school standout?

ESPN’s MLB draft analyst Kiley McDaniel has released his rankings, and the top three prospects are all college aces: LSU’s Kade Anderson, Florida State’s Jamie Arnold, and Tennessee’s Liam Doyle. But will the Nationals follow McDaniel’s rankings, or will they surprise everyone with their pick?
