The City of St. Louis’ Division of Corrections, a division of the Department of Public Safety, proudly announces the graduation of its first cadet class under newly appointed Commissioner Nate Hayward on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the City Hall rotunda.This graduating class of 16 represents one of the largest groups of new officers the Division has welcomed in recent years. “This is a huge moment for the City Justice Center,” said Commissioner Nate Hayward. “The addition of these officers isn’t just about increasing staffing levels. These are improvements that matter, and this graduating class is helping us move forward.”The Division of Corrections remains committed to professional excellence, enhanced safety standards, and the ongoing transformation of the City’s detention facilities.The Department extends its congratulations to all graduates and promoted officers and thanks them for their commitment to public service.
