Both Disaster Recovery Centers to Remain Open for Missouri Residents Affected by May 16 Disaster
The deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance is quickly approaching for Missouri residents impacted by the May 16 disaster. If your home or personal property was damaged and not covered by insurance, FEMA may be able to provide financial assistance for repairs, temporary housing, and replacement of essential items.
To apply for Individual Assistance, visit DisasterAssistance.gov or call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362. You can also visit a Disaster Recovery Center for assistance. The deadline to apply is August 26, 2025.

Two Disaster Recovery Centers are still open in St. Louis City to help residents with their disaster assistance applications, answer questions, and upload required documents. The centers are located at:

Residents can still request additional assistance as long as they submit an initial application before the deadline.

The City of St. Louis is also offering funding assistance for non-profit organizations involved in tornado response efforts. Additional Disaster Recovery Centers are opening in the city to provide FEMA Individual Assistance. Residents can also search for unclaimed funds through the Municipal Court.
