Kansas Baseball: A Season to Remember

Despite a disappointing early exit in the NCAA Tournament, the Kansas baseball team had a remarkable season this spring. Led by second-year head coach Dan Fitzgerald, the Jayhawks dominated the Big 12 conference with 20 wins and achieved the second-highest number of wins in program history with 43.

One standout player for the Jayhawks was Breckheimer, who was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 16th round (480th overall). This was a major accomplishment for Breckheimer, who transferred to Kansas from Bryant and Stratton College in his first season.
