Dodgers’ Tyler Glasnow Speaks Out After 3-2 Loss

In the wake of a disappointing 3-2 defeat, Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow did not hold back in his assessment of the team’s recent struggles.

Glasnow, who had a solid performance on the mound despite the loss, spoke candidly about the Dodgers’ current slump. “We’re just not playing up to our potential right now,” he stated. “We need to step up and start executing better if we want to turn things around.”

The Dodgers, who were once considered a top contender in the league, have been struggling as of late, losing four out of their last five games. This loss to the San Francisco Giants only added to their recent string of defeats.

Glasnow, who has been a key player for the Dodgers this season, acknowledged that the team needs to make some changes in order to get back on track. “We have a talented group of guys, but we need to start playing like it,” he emphasized.

Despite the tough loss, Glasnow remains optimistic about the team’s potential. “We have the talent and the drive to turn things around,” he said. “We just need to stay focused and keep working hard.”

As the Dodgers continue to search for answers, Glasnow’s honest take serves as a reminder that the team must stay determined and focused in order to overcome their current struggles.

The Dodgers Struggle Continues: Tyler Glasnow Shares Honest Admission

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been struggling on the field lately, and starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow didn’t hold back when discussing the team’s recent slump. Despite his strong performance on the mound, Glasnow’s ultimate goal is to win, and he knows the team needs to improve.

In their latest game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Dodgers suffered a 3-2 loss at home. Glasnow, who pitched seven innings and recorded seven strikeouts, acknowledged that the team is in a rut.

The Dodgers have a 5-5 record in their last 10 games, and injuries have taken a toll on their pitching staff. However, it’s not just the pitching that’s been struggling. Key players like shortstop Mookie Betts, first baseman Freddie Freeman, and outfielder Teoscar Hernandez have all had their share of struggles this season.

Betts, in particular, has had a tough year. With a .657 OPS in 103 games, he hasn’t been able to replicate his performance from last season when he had an .863 OPS in 116 games. Despite receiving a supportive standing ovation from fans in their recent game, Betts went hitless.

Teammate Freddie Freeman believes that Betts will turn things around, but also urges him to be kinder to himself. Despite their recent struggles, the Dodgers still hold the top spot in the National League West with a 65-48 record.

The team made some moves before the trade deadline, adding reliever Brock Stewart and outfielder Alex Call. However, they chose not to give up any top prospects for a luxury reliever or a player like left fielder Steven Kwan.

General manager Brandon Gomes believes that the Dodgers have one of the most talented rosters they’ve ever had, and they’re in first place despite not playing their best baseball yet. As the 2025 season enters its final stretch, the team’s stars will need to step up if they want to make another deep run in October.
