If your insurance does not cover the damage, FEMA may be able to provide financial assistance for home repairs, temporary housing, essential personal property, and other needs. The best way to apply is through DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.

Disaster Assistance Available for Renters

If you are a homeowner or renter and do not have a safe place to live due to recent disasters in Missouri, you can apply for disaster assistance to help with rent. This assistance may cover your monthly rent, including a security deposit, but may not cover all rental expenses. If you have already received rental assistance from FEMA and still need help, you may be eligible for Continued Temporary Housing Assistance (CTHA). Contact FEMA or visit a Disaster Recovery Center for more information.

Disaster Recovery Centers

Disaster Recovery Centers are available to assist residents with their disaster assistance applications, answer questions, and upload required documents. These centers have FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration staff on hand to provide support. You can visit any Disaster Recovery Center, regardless of your current location.

Uber Transportation Assistance Program

The City of St. Louis is offering Uber transportation assistance for residents who do not have reliable transportation to a Disaster Recovery Center.
