The City of St. Louis Reminds Residents of Thanksgiving Trash Collection Schedule Changes
The City of St. Louis Refuse Division is reminding residents to take note of the upcoming changes to the trash collection schedule for roll carts in observance of Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025.
Changes to Collection Schedule
Residents who typically have their roll carts collected on Monday for solid waste and Thursday for recycling will have their trash collected on Monday, November 24, 2025 and recycling on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Similarly, residents who usually have their roll carts collected on Tuesday for solid waste and Friday for recycling will have their trash collected on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 and recycling on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Yard Waste Collection Cancellation
Please note that the yard waste collection, which is regularly scheduled for roll carts on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, will be canceled due to the holiday changes. It will resume on its regular schedule on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
