The Dodgers Shake Things Up Before Facing the Cardinals

The Los Angeles Dodgers have made some significant changes ahead of their upcoming series against the St. Louis Cardinals. But it’s not just their batting order that’s getting a makeover.

With a record of 8-2 in their last 10 games, the Dodgers are currently sitting at the top of the National League West standings. However, the team is not content with their recent success and is determined to continue improving.

One of the biggest changes comes in the form of a new starting pitcher for the series against the Cardinals. After struggling in his last few outings, Clayton Kershaw will be taking a break and allowing Walker Buehler to take the mound.

But it’s not just the pitching rotation that’s getting a shakeup. The Dodgers have also made some changes to their batting order, with Cody Bellinger moving up to the leadoff spot and Max Muncy dropping down to the fifth spot.

Manager Dave Roberts explains that these changes are necessary in order to keep the team on their toes and maintain their momentum. “We have a lot of talented players on this team and we want to make sure everyone is contributing and staying sharp,” he says.

The Dodgers are facing a tough opponent in the Cardinals, who currently hold the top spot in the National League Central standings. But with these major changes, the Dodgers are confident that they can continue their winning streak and solidify their position at the top of their division.

Be  The Los Angeles Dodgers have made some major changes to their roster ahead of their upcoming series against the St. Louis Cardinals. The team announced on social media that they have claimed infielder Luken Baker from the Cardinals and designated pitcher Jack Little for assignment. This move comes just one week after the MLB Trade Deadline and adds depth to the Dodgers’ first base position. Meanwhile, manager Dave Roberts has also made some changes to the batting order, swapping Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts. Betts, who has been struggling at the plate, will now return to the leadoff spot while Ohtani will bat second. The Dodgers have also made a major trade, sending World Series champion Dustin May to the Boston Red Sox. This move has elevated the Red Sox’s playoff hopes and May himself has expressed excitement about joining his new team. With the addition of Baker, the Dodgers now have some much-needed depth at first base as they continue to deal with injuries to Max Muncy and Enrique Hernandez.
